When is the best time for students to start working with MYNT Education?
Ideally, students should start working with MYNT Education in 9th or 10th grade. Starting early gives Carlos more time to become familiar with students' strengths, interests, and areas needing improvement. Getting a head start in this process also gives us enough time to develop unique admission themes.

Carlos limits his student workload to no more than 25 students per class. Starting early secures him as your counselor for the duration of your high school career.

What sets MYNT Education apart from other college admission counseling agencies?
Carlos has experience working in the admission office of highly selective colleges and as a guidance counselor at an elite high school. Carlos' college counseling experience spans over 24 years. Few counselors can boast this level of experience.

Unlike other college counseling organizations with high counselor turnover, all MYNT Education students work exclusively with Carlos. MYNT Education's work is individualized and student-focused. All meetings are one-on-one.

Finally, MYNT Education does not rely on gimmicks or "tricks" to get students into college. Carlos' approach seeks to authentically showcase students' strengths and match these with the best colleges.

How often will students need to meet with MYNT?
Students in 9th and 10th grades meet with Carlos 10 times per year. To complement the 10 yearly meetings, Carlos will schedule 30-minute check-ins on an as-needed basis.

Students in 11th grade meet with Carlos once per month. We kick off the college application process during the second semester of 11th grade. As a result, Carlos will schedule 30-min check-ins on a regular basis to ensure that students are making progress.

High school seniors meet with Carlos 2-3 times a month.
